Will the pouring speed of pour-over coffee actually change the flavor direction of a cup of coffee? Front Street Coffee used Ethiopian Huakui beans as the sample, keeping the coffee dose, grind size, water temperature, and coffee-to-water ratio fixed, and adjusting only the pouring rate of the second stage—injecting 120 ml of hot water at 3 ml per second and 6 ml per second respectively, with two brews for each to compare.
