What Is in a Caramel Macchiato and Other Voucher Drinks?
Starbucks drink vouchers, paper or electronic, redeem a Tall 354ml beverage by default. Upgrading to Grande 473ml costs 3 yuan extra, and Venti 591ml costs 6 yuan extra. Some drinks sold only in Grande require that 3 yuan difference to complete redemption. Show a physical voucher to staff, or present the electronic code, and for a voucher stored in a Starbucks Card, tell staff before ordering.
The 2023 price list covers four series: Espresso, Frappuccino, Iced Shaken Tea and Cold Brew Iced Coffee. In the Espresso series, a Tall Caffe Mocha is 33 yuan and a Tall Caramel Macchiato is 34 yuan, while a Tall Caffe Americano is 27 yuan. Venti sizes run higher, so the voucher plus the size difference is usually the cheapest route to a larger drink.
Holding a Starbucks drink voucher but not sure how to use it? Paper vouchers and electronic vouchers have different redemption methods, and upgrading a Tall to a Grande or Venti requires paying the price difference. This article details the usage rules, redeemable scope, and restrictions of Starbucks drink vouchers, and also compiles the popular drink prices across the four major series—Espresso, Frappuccino, Iced Shaken Tea, and Cold Brew Iced Coffee—in 2023, for coffee lovers' reference.
