The Clever Coffee Dripper originated in Taiwan. Its full name is Clever Coffee Dripper, and it is a dripper with a controllable switch valve at the bottom. (In principle, only drippers of the Mr. Clever brand can be called Clever Coffee Drippers; similar cups from other brands can only be called switch drippers or Clever-type drippers.) 1. Two uses in one cup: it can be used as a normal dripper for through-flow extraction, and it can also use immersion extraction to make coffee.

The principle of the Clever Coffee Dripper
The key to the design is the piston valve at the bottom of the dripper. After hot water is poured into the dripper, the water pressure automatically seals the piston valve and stops the water, allowing the coffee grounds to fully immerse in it; after immersion is complete, place the dripper on a mug, and the base is pressed to open the piston valve, so the coffee slowly flows into the cup.

 How Front Street Coffee (FrontStreet Coffee) brews coffee with the Clever Coffee Dripper
 Fold the filter paper, place it on the Clever Coffee Dripper, and wet the filter paper with hot water so that it fits against the wall of the cup. 

2.  Pour the ground coffee powder into the cup, pour in 225ml of hot water (91°C), put on the lid, and wait 4 minutes. (Stirring can be added appropriately to improve the coffee extraction rate.)

3. After 4 minutes, place the Clever Coffee Dripper on the sharing pitcher, and the piston valve will open automatically, allowing all the coffee liquid to drip into the sharing pitcher. At this point, the coffee is ready to taste.
