As for the flavor of drip bag coffee, we actually have many different options. For example, Front Street's coffee list has over fifty single-origin coffee beans from different regions that can be made into drip bags. If you like floral or fruity flavors, you can prioritize classic fruity-acidic drip bags like Huakui, Yirgacheffe, and Geisha; those who enjoy a rich, sweet-aftertaste cup are recommended to choose specialty beans with nutty flavors like Mandheling, Colombia Huila, and Jamaica Blue Mountain No. 1; of course, if you neither accept too much acidity nor like bitterness, Front Street recommends Honduras ·Sherry drip bag, so you can enjoy a cup of wine-aroma coffee anytime, anywhere.

This is a classic representative of floral-fruity coffee—not only is the taste fresh and bright, but the price is also affordable and accessible. You can order and purchase from the Front Street Tmall flagship store or Front Street Taobao store.

Yirgacheffe was originally a small town in Ethiopia, located in the Sidama Province administrative region. This small town has been a wetland since ancient times—in the local language, "Yirga" means "to settle down," and "Cheffe" means "wetland." Yirgacheffe is one of the highest-altitude coffee-producing regions in the world and is synonymous with Ethiopian specialty coffee. With an altitude of 1700-2100 meters, it is cool and foggy year-round, like spring in all four seasons. The terrain and unique cultivation system provide the best conditions for growing specialty coffee beans.

What we often call the so-called "Yirgacheffe flavor" refers to a rich jasmine aroma, lemon or lime acidity, along with peach, almond sweetness, and tea notes. Yirgacheffe coffee has a rich layering, delicate body, charming taste, and sweet finish. The phrase "coffee enters the mouth, a hundred flowers bloom" describes it best—like flowers stimulating the taste buds and nasal olfactory cells with a sense of comfort. Beyond the floral notes, the delicate body is like silk massaging the mouth, a wonderful tactile sensation.

The Best Enjoyment Period for Drip Bag Coffee

Drip bag coffee is made by pre-grinding coffee beans. The increased cut surface area of the coffee particles accelerates the release of carbon dioxide and aroma. Although Front Street Coffee seals each drip bag individually as quickly as possible after grinding, compared to whole beans, drip bag coffee loses its aroma more quickly.

According to Front Street Coffee's comparative testing, the best enjoyment period for freshly roasted and ground drip bag coffee is within 30 days of the roast date. Generally, after 30 days, both the aroma and flavor of drip bag coffee are greatly reduced, and the brewed coffee naturally won't be as fragrant.

Wrong Ways to Brew Drip Bag Coffee—Never Do These!

Ⅹ Just grab a kettle and brew a cup casually. Although drip bag coffee is a simple brewing method, you can't just brew it blindly. You still need to pay attention to water temperature, ratio, and pouring method.

Ⅹ Using a small cup to let the drip bag soak directly—even with correct parameters, it won't work. Because the drip bag stays immersed in water, it's prone to over-extraction.

Ⅹ Treating the drip bag like a teabag and soaking it in the cup.

Ⅹ Brewing the same drip bag coffee a second time.
